"Colorize", nitpicking

There is no simple way to change an all red background to a different color. This could do with fixing.

A "colorize" operator would be very quick and easy to create. It would not regain any time wasted trying to figure out how to color things, but it would make future times easier.

The operator to create a bump map is not obvious. Even the file OPERATORS.TXT tells nothing. This could use fixing as well.

It is difficult to blur without losing detail. This, perhaps, is the point. However, it makes it difficult to soften jagged surfaces without losing important details. When they are as complex as they can be with the use of lookup, distort, and several cloud renders, things can be very messy indeed and it can be hard to salvage detail but keep it looking nice.

If you have suggestions that could help to work around these issues, of course, those will work as well.

As was said in an email to

As was said in an email to Dentoid, I have more suggested improvements to FxGen.

First, scrollbars should be implemented in all windows, so as to add ease of use for all of us working with limited space.

The context menu for choosing operators should not go off of the edge of the screen, this makes building some complicated textures difficult when your work space is limited.

I see no purpose for allowing the properties to collapse, and suggest that feature is removed or confined to a smaller area of the the property title. Too often have I went to change the resolution of a render, and ended up with a small black capsule where I had been clicking.

I recommend additional export options for those of us who lack the ability to open TGA files.

A font operator would not be too much of a stretch, given the extant Vector operator. It is a feature I very much would like to see.

Interest is still expressed in the previously mentioned Colorize function, as I still have no means to change the colors without lots of trial and error. This becomes tedious or simply impossible when attempting to desaturate something.

I wish Roto Zoom's rotation would tile properly, is this fixable or not?

When attempting to do the borders on carpet that consist of metal strips, I often find myself using a very ugly solution due to the limits of the Rect operator. Is there the possibility of a "corner" operator, which acts like rect but has a bevel that extends from corner to corner leading from either top right to bottom left, visaversa, or both? It may also be necessary to have the user choose between "top" and "bottom".

I will add to this list as things come to mind.

EDIT: Color reduction would be very nice. There are cases, especially with combining textures, where reducing a gradient to two colors and adding it to a white Noise render would produce the results I desire.

I will continue to add to this list.

If you want to replace one

If you want to replace one color with another (not entirely, but rather smoothly, depending on the amount of that color in your texture), use following set of operators:

1. your reddish texture
2. Flat operator, all in red
3. AlphaMask set to color masking (will add an alpha channel proportional to red color)
4. Another AlphaMask will extract alpha as a B/W mask
5. Colors - to control linear interpolation with mask brightness
6. Your new background (anything)
7. Lerp.

This is how we do it xD

Thank you for sharing that.

I have a HTML table created

I have a HTML table created using ASP as a web page.

ie.

HEADING1 HEADING2 HEADING3 etc...
data 1 data2 data3 etc
and so on

How can I toggle hide / show the columns individually, anyone ever needed to
do this and have any suggestions comptia a+.
so that the code will work for roughly 60% of all web users out there
(that's just a little bit more than a few hundreds of millions of people
on this planet) ... until MSIE 7 for Windows correct all this. Nevertheless, one can code to workaround all these difficulties. Here's
a page (local version without brinkster banner ads will validate
perfectly) which will work overall rather well in Mozilla 1.6, Opera
7.50 PR1 build 3494, MSIE 6 for Windows, K-meleon 0.8.2, NS 7.1,
Firebird 0.8+ (build 20040120), MyIE2 vers. 0.9.12 with Gecko 1.5: Modifying the table column structure *and* the table row structure at exam 70-536
the same time will not produce correct layout. But if the user only
tries to modify either only the column structure or only the row
structure, then the layout will be correct. I still need to tweak the
code and tune a few things in the functions to make it more robust. I'm
still working on that file so I don't want to hear nitpicking comments.

I have another demo page where one can show, hide or collapse table
sections like the thead, tbody and tfoot itil certification.

Pointed ears, you could have replied in a much more constructive manner.
Again, you focus on little things which can only annoy others or
contribute/lead to clashing noises.
